SAISA Women's Singlehandeds

Summary

Saturday, October 1:

A better than expected 7-8 knot easterly greeted the 6 competitors this morning, and racing was underway by 10:30 am. Six races were completed, all courses were W4, averaging 15 minutes in length. The final two races saw the breeze dying, with a nasty chop remaining. With the top two positions clinched, the regatta was declared a wrap. Thank you to coaches Mitch Hall (CoC) and Jon Faudree (JU) for their assistance. Congratulations to Charleston for going 1-2, with Kelly-Ann Arrindell and Kelly Cole, both freshmen, advancing to Nationals.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
