MCSA Men's Singlehanded Champs


Saturday, October 10:

It was beautiful sunny day with wind building throughout the morning. Racing started at 10 AM, and continued into the late afternoon. 7 races were completed on Saturday. A big thank you to our PRO Alina Dix of Chicago Yacht Club, and our judges Geoff Pedrick, Betsy Altman, and Dennis Bartley.

Sunday, October 11:

Another sunny day at the Northwestern Sailing Center. Wind filled in early in the morning and remained steady at 13 kts through the end of the event. Three additional races were completed and everyone was off the water by noon. No protests were filed.

Congratulations to James Harvey '17 of Washington University on winning the event, and to Nathan Jamieson '17 of Wisconsin and Mason Wolters '18 of Michigan for qualifying for Nationals!
