Salt Pond Invite

Following a dying northerly that delivered boats to the race area, a light southerly rapidly filled after the first A start was abandoned. The breeze was stable and built slightly through mid day, then slowly diminished. 6 races were completed in both divisions. 1 BKD, no protests.

URI dominated in both division and enjoyed a substantial lead at the end of the day. Roger Williams and Brown also had solid days.

Skip Whyte was PRO with assistance from Sophie Podlich, scorer in chief, and a host of other Rams who made everything run smoothly.

Salt Pond Invite:

The fleet was towed to the Outer Pond in a light SSW breeze that built gradually through mid afternoon, maxing out at 10-12 knots. Racing was underway by 10:30 and 5 races were completed in both divisions. Roger Williams was the best team today, but only managed a small dent in URI's lead. The Rams won both divisions and the event with Roger Williams 2nd.

Skip Whyte, Sophie Podlich, and a host of other Rams made the event run like clockwork. No protests, no breakdowns.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
