Saturday, September 13:

Sailors arrived at the J. Stewart Walker Sailing Center crisp and ready for action. Unfortunately the conditions were much more favorable for the Chucktown Showdown, a local SUP competition. Racing began around noon in the Cooper River with a 4-6 knot southerly and flood tide. Three races were completed using W4s before the tide switched and the course was relocated to Crab Bank.

Six more races were sailed using a combination of W4s and Modified Triangle-Windward-Leewards due to the cross current. The University of South Florida Bulls lead the College of Charleston Cougars who are followed closely by the Eckerd Tritons. One redress was filed and will be heard in the morning. Thanks to the team of Cougars for keeping the course fair and square.

Sunday, September 14:

No races were completed today. Congratulations to the University of South Florida Bulls on their victory and all the teams for the terrific camaraderie. Special thanks to the team of Cougars for running another great event in trying conditions.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
