Central Fall #2

Summary

Saturday, October 13:

Sailors were greeted by a 5-8 kt NNE breeze in the morning. Two races in A Division were completed in the morning before going into a postponement due to lack of wind. Sailors were sent out again at 3:00 in a shifty 5-12 kt SSE breeze. Racing was completed by 6:00, with 2 sets completed in each division. No protests were filed.

Racing will resume tomorrow morning at 9:30am.

Sunday, October 14:

On Sunday, the sailors raced in a building breeze, starting at 8 kts in the morning. Throughout the day it increased to 16-20 kts. The regatta was called at 2:00 due to tired sailors, beaten boats, and increasing winds. In all, 9 races were sailed in each division. No protests were filed.

A big thanks is due to all the Shoremen and Shorewomen who canceled their fall break to help out with the regatta.

Congratulations to Princeton and Drexel! Both teams qualified for the War Memorial.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
