Racing was postponed this morning due to not enough wind on the lake. The conditions were rainy and humid all day. When the wind began to come up, racing got underway around 10 a.m. EDT. The wind was around 4 knots out of the south-southeast. The competitors sail a windward/leeward course with four legs (W4). The winds were a constant 5 knots from southeast. After the 3rd A-diversion race,(1 p.m. EDT), races had to be postponed because of lightning until 1:30 p.m. EDT. Racing ended at 4:30 p.m. EDT with a total of 12 races (A and B divisions).
Racing started at 10:30 a.m. EDT. The conditions were humid and breezy. The wind was around 8 knots out of the east. The competitors sail a windward/leeward course with four legs (W4). The winds were a constant 8 knots. Four races were held to complete 10 races total for the regatta. Racing was concluded at 1:30 p.m. EDT. We would like to congradulate Purdue for a first place, Notre Dame for a second, and Miami for a 3rd overall.
