Summary

Saturday, September 17:

The wind was from the East North East at about 7 building to 10 as the clouds gave way to sunny skies. The Temperature built from the high fifties to the middle sixties. Six races were sailed, but in race one the Race Committee set the starting line to starboard of the committee boat causing confusion and abandonment after a redress hearing. Race one will be re-sailed the as the first race on Sunday. Michigan State took the lead with a string of firsts in the last three races.

Sunday, September 18:

The wind was from the north at between 8 and 15 with gusts. for the last race the wind shifted to north east. It was sunny with high clouds building in the afternoon. The temperature started out in the high fifties and increased to about 70 during the day. Race 1 was re-sailed followed by Race 7 in the same boats. One mlore race was sailed before a lunch break and another two races were completed before the 3 pm time limit. Michigan State had a great series with bullets in 6 of the 10 races. Bowling Green took first in the last race to edge out Ohio State for 3rd place.
