Atlantic Coast Tournament

Summary

Saturday, November 13:

Saturday:

A tough day for breeze at Bethel Point. Breeze ranged from NW to WSW 2-4 knots with lots of current. Two A and two B races were completed. All courses were W-4s. A big thanks to Tom Charpentier '10 for scoring, Stuart MacNeil '08 for operating the mark boat, and the Polar Bear Nation for running the land operations. The forecast is slightly better for tomorrow.

Sunday:

Four A and four B races were sailed in breeze that ranged from NW to SW before settling into a nice easterly to end the day. Courses were W-3s, W-4s, and W-5s with offsets and gates. One protest was disallowed. A big thanks to Tom Charpentier '10 for scoring, Stu MacNeil '08 for moving marks, and all the Polar Bears that made things run smoothly on land. Congratulations to the BU Terriers for winning the 2010 Atlantic Coast Tournament.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
