Priddy Trophy

Summary

Saturday, April 25:

We sailed outside of Black Rock Harbor now that the moorings have been placed again. Winds were out of the Northwest switching to Southwest in the early afternoon. Nine teams fleet raced on FJs, sailed 2 fleets for 3 sets each. Winds were between 8-10 knots in the morning, strengthening to 14 knots in the afternoon with 1-2 foot swells.

Note: RC was unaware the Priddy Trophy was a freshmen only event with one division and no substitutions. Six of the nine teams present were also unaware and had A & B teams. RC raced both A & B divisions and the three teams with single freshmen teams, Tufts, URI and UNH, raced in the B division as well , except UNH DNS the last two B division races. The Priddy Trophy award decision was based solely on A division results and was awarded to Tufts.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
