Herring Pond Team Race Invite

The first ever Herring Pond Team Race Invitational was held at the Keith Hartford Sailing Center on Saturday March 30 2013. It was a beautiful sunny day with a breeze of anywhere up to 8 knots, that came from any and all directions throughout the day. The first two round robins were sailed with a northerly breeze coming right down the pond, and shifting to the east as the morning went on. After the first 2 round robins and a lunch break, the breeze was filling from the north and south simultaneously, with puffs from the west. It eventually settled in from the south and allowed a third round robin to be completed. congratulations to Tufts who lost only one match, and won the event.
