Running racing today on the Redwood Creek was akin to a sharp stick to the eye. I imagine sailing the races was only slightly better. However, as always, the spirit of the PCCSC prevailed.
Racing began with a rather lovely Easterly that promptly vacated upon the commencement of the first race. Between then and 3p, the East, North, Southeast was noncommittal. A square race was only found when the breeze completely vacated the premises.
Eventually a nice Southerly filled. Unfortunately, the angle and the severe low tide could not agree and starboard tack had to make way for fetch. Lose, lose, lose. Many thanks for Reade Decker, Ashtyn Tierney and Alice Schmid in the mark boat. May have retired early if not for them.
Better luck tomorrow.
Easy day on the creek. 8 races were sailed in a 10-20 knot SSE breeze. So choice. Love the PCCSC.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
