Seven teams arrived to sail a combined division regatta. Racing began inside Bayboro Harbor at 9:45am with a light 4-5 knot easterly, sunny skies, and temperatures in the low 70's. Instead of dying, the breeze surprisingly built, to 5-7 knots, allowing 6 races to be sailed before a lunch break was called.
Following the lunch break, the southeasterly wind allowed racing to move into Tampa Bay, east of Lassing Park. One short race was sailed in gorgeous breeze but with a strong incoming current. The RC lengthened the course and of course the wind immediately decreased. The decision was made to move inside to Bayboro Harbor for the final 2 scheduled races, but after almost 2 hours of waiting for the much anticipated seabreeze, racing was called for the day at 4:15pm.
All races were W4's, averaging 10-13 minutes in length. No protests were filed, no breakdowns.
Congratulations to PBAU on the victory, followed by host USF, and Florida Tech in 3rd.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
