This weekend’s racing brought a mix of conditions that kept teams on their toes. We had 10 boats on the line with combined divisions, making for tight and competitive racing.
Saturday started off with a light and variable southerly, requiring some patience early on. By 1 p.m., we adjusted the course further from the usual racing area to find more consistent breeze, which paid off. Despite the tricky conditions, we got off eight races, giving teams plenty of opportunities to battle it out.
Sunday was forecasted to bring breeze in the 20s, but that didn’t materialize. Instead, we went straight into racing. Conditions allowed us to get off nine more races, wrapping up the regatta with solid competition.
Overall, it was a productive weekend on the water, with 17 total races and plenty of tight racing across the fleet.
