Day 1 of CGA's final J70 invite of the Spring season saw a heavy Northeasterly with a strong ebb current making for a one track race course to the shallow water on the west side of the river. CGA Bears 2 dominated the first set with three bullets, and then the Brown Bears turned around and dominated the second set with three bullets. Four of the 6 races were sailed with spinnakers today, the final two races sailed without due to increase in pressure late in the day and some big time wipeouts in race 4. CGA Bears 2 are currently in the lead with the Brown Bears in second, the Maine Maritime Mariners in third and CGA Bears 1 close on their heels.
Day two of Invite #3 saw 6 races sailed all in a heavy NNW with a strong ebb current again. The first set was sailed without spins, the 2nd set sailed with spins. The Brown Bears continued their clinic from the second half of yesterday's racing, won the pin and won the drag race to the Left side of the course to get current relief. The CGA Bears 2 fought to a strong 2nd place and the Maine Maritime Mariners had an excellent day two to round out the podium in 3rd place. Congrats to all competitors! A big thank you to Lexi Pline for coming out and taking photos of our J70 invite. Link to the photos will be sent out to competitors soon.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
