An amazing day on the river. 8-22 knots, straight down the river from the WSW. RC worked hard to get 20 minute races with the Harvard and MIT semi-final race courses lined up tip to tail along the river. MIT used outer and inner trapezoids with an extra lap to get 20 minute races. 12 races were run in each division.
Brown, Yale and Roger Williams traded first, second and third throughout the day.
Race committee was staffed by PRO Carter Brock and Mike Kanare on start boat, Lucy Brock and Morgan Termaat on finish, event chair Matt Lindblad on markset.
Chief Judge John Pratt was assisted by Rick Myers, John Mooney, Trevor Long, Dana Haig, Eric Hansen, and Fred Hagedorn.
Danielle Richards was the ICSA rep and provided amazing assistance to the race committee and coaches ashore.
Shore team at MIT was led by dockmasters Stew Craig and Dan Tucker on breakdown and equipment check. Education Coordinator Hannah Agate organized all of the team checkins, volunteers, food, and volunteers Dockstaff included Grace Mao, Dave Hill, and Conan Hom. Other volunteers included Max Wood, Walker Cox, and a bunch of sailors from the BB&N sailing team.
