On Saturday February 26, 2022, sailors where on the water just after 10 am after enjoying a delicious breakfast made by the CSC Auxiliary. The first race started at 10:20 am. After the first full rotation of three races, getting the minimum number of races needed to constitute a regatta, race committee decided to switch to two races per rotation due to the predication that the wind would die around 12 pm. Lunch was served and sailors were able to enjoy a verity of sandwiches, soup and cupcakes. As the wind started to die around 11:30 am, after the the second A fleet rotation, a big group photo was taken. The wind started to fill back in and the B fleet went out for the second time. By the end of the day, five races in each fleet were completed. Overall, it was a great day on Lake Murray, congratulations to CofC for winning first place as with The Citadel and UofSC getting 2nd and 3rd. Thank you to all the teams who made it and to CSC for helping us host a great regatta!
