The first day of spring brought some awesome conditions on the Thames River. S-SW breeze ranging from 5-14 knots all day that slowly veered to the West for the last race. Conn College, URI and CGA made up the eight boat fleet that sailed a total of seven W4 courses. Going into the last race there was a three way tie with Bears 1, Rams 1 and Bears 2 with CGA Senior Richard O'Leary and crew of Megan Wadleigh, Chris Alemania and Rachel Pelton winning the race and the regatta.
Special thanks to the Offshore Bears for running the event and to the Coast Guard Academy community for supporting the ability to host college sailing competitions at Jacobs Rock!
