Morris Trophy

Summary

Saturday, April 20:

Winds were gusty from the SW, and very windy at times. Capsizes were frequent towards the end of the day. Five races were held in A division, 4 in B division.

Sunday, April 21:

Sunday was much different than Saturday, with very light SE winds, 0 - 7 knots. Three races were held in A division, and 5 in B division. Congratulations to Boston University for winning the event. Thank you to Brendan Cook ('16), Hannah Polster ('16), Maggie Swanson ('16), and Liz Glivinski ('14) for help running a great event. The Morris Trophy is named in honor of George Morris, BU sailor and graduate of the School of Management in 1953. Over the years, George has been on of the biggest supporters of the BU Sailing Team, and he remains engaged in the team today.
