Tyrell Trophy

Summary

Sunday, April 9:

Sunday started off with a 12-15 knots from the South West, with the breeze rising to 18-20 sustained. Gusts in the mid 20s became frequent in the afternoon causing capsizes and a few boats to retire. Due to the dwindling fleet, the racing was stopped at 1pm. Sailors enjoyed a lunchtime cookout where 36 Husky Burgers were made. Thank you to the alumni who came to help out. Thank you to the other teams that helped sailors back to shore. Congratulations to Tufts on their first place finish. Also, congratulations to Plymouth St. on attending their first regatta, hope to see you next year. A special thank you to Prescott Littlefield for the use of Avery Point facilities and his help at the regatta.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
