Rochester Club Open

Summary

Saturday, April 29:

Sailors arrived at Rochester Canoe Club to shifty, 5-10 mph breeze from the N that built and shifted west as the day continued. Fourteen races were completed on the first day before the teams finished the day at 4 pm with a cookout graciously provided by Delia and Mike Ingham of RCC. One protest was heard, resulting in a disqualification.

Much thanks to RCC's Tim Hammer for running crashboat and to Roy Ingham and Tyler Rochon for running RC.

Sunday, April 30:

Sailing on day two was postponed until 11am due to severe thunderstorms. After the weather cleared, a 5-10mph westerly breeze filled in. The final two races in the rotation started on day one were sailed before the regatta ended at noon.

Thank you to RCC's Tom Lee and Andy Heyer for running crashboat and Tyler Rochon for running RC.

Congratulations to the University of Ottawa for their victory in the first Rochester Club Open!

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
