The first Wesleyan Invite sailed from Sears Park on Lake Pocotopaug went off with out a hitch, with the exception of the race committee chair (Scott Leppert) being launched into the icy waters after a member of his team rammed the committee boat during a start. The first race was sailed in .3 - 1.2 knots of wind and was a roll tacker's dream. After a short lunch break, the breeze came in and the remaining seven races were sailed in a beautiful 10-12 knot breeze. Four teams were in attendance for Wesleyan's inaugural event, congratulations to Bates for traveling the furthest and taking the win! Thank you to Molly Haley (WES 13'), John McGlyann (Wes 13'), and Earl Lin (WES 15') for coming back to the "Pog" and running the event. Thank you to SHU for providing us with an extra coach boat. For sure, with the exception of Leppert's soaked phone spending day three in front of a dehumidifier, a good time was had by all!

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
