Competitors were on the water by 10:30 AM ready to race. The wind cooperated in the beginning, fluctuating between 10-15 knots as racing was about to start. Through out the day, setting a square course was a bit of a challenge for race committee. All types of the conditions were seen around midday as the range of wind was 2-20 knots and 20 degree shifts were common. Regardless of the conditions, a full round robin of races was completed. 8 races were completed in A fleet and B fleet. No protests were filed. All the competitors had a great time!
Since the needed round robin was completed on Saturday, April 23, the regatta was wrapped up at the end of the first day. No races were started on Sunday, April 24.
