William & Mary Spring Open

Summary

Sponsored by Beneteau

Saturday, March 21:

Weather conditions were decent with the wind blowing between 5 and 10 knots most of the day. There were a few lulls in wind speed, leading to a less-than-desirable number of races. By the end of the day races up to 5A had been completed. The original 2B race was protested and scrapped, so race committee had the actual 2B race take place after races 3A and 4A. The racing concluded around 3:45 P.M.

Sunday, March 22:

The wind was very light and shifty for the majority of the day on Sunday. When it was blowing steadily, it was about 3-7 knots. By the end of the regatta, we had completed up to race 8B. The 9A race was about to be started, however, the wind died fully making further racing impossible around 1 P.M. The regatta concluded as a result of the wind dying out completely.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
