A blue-sky morning at Herring Pond saw a combined fleet of 12 boats sailing 6 races in classic shifty (from NNW to WSW) and puffy (approx. 4 to 14 kts) pond sailing wind conditions. After a break for lunch, a few clouds moved in in the afternoon and the wind settled down to a very steady southerly between approx. 8 to 12 kts allowing for 6 more races to be sailed to complete the regatta.
