The day started off with severe thunderstorms and 0-3knts of wind. We postponed for the first 2 hours and were able to start the first set around 11am once the storms blew over and the breeze picked up to roughly 5knts. The rest of the day was cloudy but lacked storms and the wind consistently grew to 10-15knts, gusts to 18knts. Overall it was a successful day with 3 solid sets run before weather became an issue in the late afternoon.
The day started off sunny and blowing roughly 6-8knts, building to 10-15knts throughout the day. The nice weather and consistent breeze allowed us to get through a solid 2 rotations. Thanks to the PRO Adam El-Khazindar and the Tulane and Loyola sailing teams for providing the venue.
