With winds clocking in at between 8-12 knots Northerly, it was a great day to sail the W-4 course. The winds held steady for the entire day and we sailed 8 races in both Divisions.
There were 2 protests that were upheld, in B1, William & Mary Retired After Finishing, and in A8, several protests were heard, with George Washington & University of Virginia Disqualified, and Hampton University exonerated.
Very light, fluky winds greeted the racers on Sunday, with winds South to Southwest, 3-6 knots in intensity throughout the day. The Race Committee was able to complete 3 races in both Divisions before calling the regatta at 3pm.
No protests were filed on Sunday.
Congratulations to the top five teams that advance to the America Trophy,which is the MAISA Co-Ed Conference Championship. This regatta will be sailed at the US Merchant Marine Academy, in New York on April 26-27, 2014.
