Saturday, April 12th marked the first day of races. Initial races, originally scheduled for 10pm, were delayed by roughly 30 minutes due to no wind on the course. Races resumed at 10:45am, with the wind coming out of the south at 6-7 knts.
By noon, winds had picked up from the south to roughly 15-16 knots. We recorded our first capsize (Iowa) at roughly 1pm, with winds gusting to 20knts.
In coordination with the Race Committee and the Regatta chair, all racing was called off at 2:45pm when gusts exceeded 28 knots.
Washington lead the day, with a total score of 8.

Sunday marked the final day of the Hoosier Daddy Regatta. In order to get in as many races as possible, the start time was moved to 8am, with the first whistle blowing at 8:30am. Winds throughout the day ranged from 8-17 knots from the south.
