SAISA South Points #5

Summary

Saturday, March 24:

SP #5 @Jacksonville,

Competitors arrived at Jacksonville University for mostly sunny skies and light southerly breeze. Wind conditions built progressively to 10+ knots out of the SSW for beautiful racing conditions for the regatta. A flooding St. Johns River tide kept sailors on their toes throughout all races. A total of 12 races were completed. No breakdowns or protests were filed. Congratulations to the University of Miami Hurricanes on their victory. A special thanks also to Ret. LTCDR. Bob Spencer of Brunswick HS, for the use of the race sails and to the JU Sailing team (that showed up after a long Spring Break) for their help!

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
