There were five teams in attendance. A and B division were each assigned their own fleet of five boats and both divisions were sent out on the water together. Separate starts were run on the same course for the two divisions. Sailors rotated on the water after every race.
Racing started promptly at 10AM. The breeze was a steady 8-10mph from the east. Five races were completed in each division before the sailors were sent in for lunch around 12:35PM.
A storm was detected during lunch and the sailors were held on shore until 3:30PM. Once the storm had passed and conditions were considered safe, sailors were sent back out with the first afternoon race beginning at 3:50PM. The breeze was 18mph and lessened to 7mph by the end of racing. The final B division race was completed at 7PM. 10 races were completed in each division. Racing was completed in one day.
