Summary

Saturday, April 9:

Saturday’s racing began around 10:00 a.m. with 7 boats on the line. The wind was blowing 15 knots at the first warning, and it built throughout the day to 25 knots, with gusts up to 30 knots. Because of the condition's, Saturday's racing ended around 4:00 p.m. after the completion of race 10A.

Sunday, April 10:

On Sunday, the first warning was at 10:00. The wind conditions were similar to Saturday, starting out around 20 knots, building to 25 knots, and gusting to 30 knots. After both days of racing, 24 races were completed, 4 races short of a full rotation. Racing ended around noon.

The University of Texas would like to thank all of the teams for coming and the Austin Yacht Club for hosting. Special thanks to Steve Gay for running Race Committee, Ed Taylor for helping out with mark-set, and all of the UT sailors who helped run the regatta.

Congratulations to Tulane University for their win! They, along with the University of Texas and Texas A&M University are eligible to advance to semi-finals.

Note: Many races were disqualified due to PR 15c. Any races sailed by non-ICSA sailors have been disqualified (Fleet + 1).
