The sailors were greeted by sunny skies, a steady 10mph out of the West and an overall beautiful day. The race committee was able to promptly start the racing at 10:00am with all of the schools showing up on time. With a strong current and shifty winds the race committee did a great job keeping the course fair. We got 18 solid races (10 in A, 8 in B) in throughout the day with the wind building to 15mph by 1700 when racing was called for the day.
Although the sun was still shining, the sailors were greeted by a much lighter wind out of an unreliable NE direction. After waiting until 1100 the race committee called the regatta. Congratulations to RIT for winning the 2011 Drexel Open.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
