The 2026 Rosebowl brought with it wind this year but also quite a bit of rain. The breeze was southeast to south-southeast oscillating throughout the day and ranging from 5 to 14 knots. Current was present sweeping out the LA river from rainfall outflow making laylines slightly more tricky to call. The shifts were fairly long phased as fronts came through. Despite getting soaked, it was a great day on the water for being out in January. Racing started at roughly noon and was completed around 4:30pm due to daylight issues. 4 races were completed in both divisions. Thank you to all of the volunteers who made this huge event happen.
Day 2 of the Rosebowl had a similar forecast of rain even as the sun broke through for an hour or so early on in the morning. Unfortunately, by the time the sailors hit the water, the rain began and conditions ranged similarly to Saturday, albeit with an on the water postponement as wind limits dropped below the required minimum. Due to some major shifts, the previously mentioned postponement, and some difficulties getting the races off via general recalls, there were only two races completed in each division. Regardless, it was a great regatta and a lot of fun to have so many different conferences sailing together. Thank you to all the teams that made the effort to be here. Thank you also to all the RC and volunteers that helped the 2026 Rosebowl become a huge success.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
