Women's Atlantic Coast Championship Finals

Summary

Saturday, October 12:

We started out racing in a 5-10 knot NW breeze in the Severn River right in front of the Robert Crown Center. 7 races were completed per division when the conditions deteriorated to the point that race 8 was called off for both fleets. After a delay on shore a 5 knot SE breeze filled in, but strong current and decreasing breeze allowed for only 2 more a and one more b race. Two protests were filed on shore resulting in a DSQ For HWS in race 8B. MIT was granted redress for a RC error in Race 8A.

Sunday, October 13:

After a delay onshore waiting for wind, a light SE breeze filled in and we began racing in the Severn River in front of the Crown Center late in the morning. Ad the day progressed, the wind shifted right and built to near 15 knots in the puffs. Congratulations to Stanford for the win.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
