After the conclusion of the open championship, there was a lengthy delay all afternoon as we waited for breeze to begin the Women’s Singlehanded Championship.
Luckily, about an hour before the cut off time a line of breeze began to refill from the south. The regatta management team and competitors quickly made their way out to the race course that was set and racing got underway.
Fortunately, there was just enough time to get three races in to constitute a regatta.
The big thank you to the University of Texas Sailing Team, Austin Yacht Club, and the volunteers for helping put the event on.
Congratulations to Ava Anderson from the Tulane Green Wave for defending her SEISA single-handed championship title.
The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
