5 teams were on hand to compete for the 2024 SEISA Match Race Conference Championship on Lake Travis. The day started with a really nice 8-12 knot southerly, but as the day warmed up the breeze began to rise off the lake resulting in spotty conditions. No lead was safe, and many of the races saw lead changes throughout. Late in the afternoon the breeze really started to die off and slowed the rotation down immensely. After Race 9 ended with the breeze below 3 knots and no new breeze filling, the difficult decision was made to abandon the attempt to start Race 10. Scoring proceeded to follow RSS Appendix C10.3 and C 11.1.
Congratulations to the Tulane University Green Wave on the undefeated record en route to winning the Championship.
