Teams gathered at Carolina Yacht Club on a beautiful, sunny Saturday morning ready to race. Conditions were light to begin but breeze increased as the morning progressed and racing continued on Banks Channel. The RC was able to get six races in each division over the span of the one day event. Congrats to NC State Wolfpack for the regatta win including wins in both A and B divisions, the Clemson Tigers in second place, and in a three-way tie for third, with the tiebreaker going to NC State's second entry Red & White, followed by The Citadel Bulldogs, and finally UNC-Chapel Hill. Thanks and a hearty Hawk yeah! to all the teams who attended and raced in the inaugural Seahawk Showdown Regatta.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
