The first two races were sailed in a westerly at 12-18 knots with 1-2ft chop. During the third race, the sustained wind speed built to 18+ with gusts up to 23. After holding ashore for 40 minutes, the decision to postpone the remaining six races for Sunday was announced. Thanks to Lilly Dubovsky ‘27 and Mia Conkey ‘26 for the help on the water.
Breeze for races 3-6 came from the NE at 6-10 knots. The breeze steadily clocked right to eventually settle at ESE after the lunch break. For races 7-9 the velocity built to sustained 12-14kts. Thanks to our fleet captains Emil Tullberg ‘25 and Olivia Lowthian ‘25 for their help running races and setting marks today.
