Open Atlantic Coast Tournament

Summary

Saturday, October 19:

Good Morning Sailors! Thames started with a 4=6 Northerly and died to glass. Around 12:30PM a SE breeze at 6-8 came and went back and forth all day from a S to SE. The Breeze Slowly died and an the current picked up. We completed 8A races and 7B races. B will start first nd switch boats on Sunday. 5 Protests where heard and 1 request for redress was delayed until Sunday for a more comprehensive request. Thanks to our judges for hearing protests and giving warnings on the water. Big Thank You Conn undergrads for helping with RC.

Sunday, October 20:

The northerly was stronger then expected. The RC considered sailing in a light North breeze. It quickly went to glass and the SE breeze came in at 4-6, throughout the day it slowly went to the S then the SW and finished in a WSW. We finished the day with 6 B Div races and 5 A Div races, with a total of 13 races in each division for the weekend. Thanks to the Camel undergrads and the Judges for running the event.
