A great day on Harpswell Sound! This regatta serves a memorial to Nicholas Barnett, Bowdoin Class of 2011. Nick died in a car accident during Thanksgiving Break of his freshmen year. During his short time on the team, Nick made an impact. He enjoyed sailing, bonding with his teammates, and greatly enjoyed his time at Bowdoin.
Seven races were completed in both division before the breeze shut off around 5 pm. A division sailed FJs all day with B division in 420s. Breeze ranged from 3-10 knots out of the SE-NE. All courses were W-4s. Congrats to BU on the win!
