Washington College Fall

Summary

Saturday, October 16:

Sailors arrived to beautiful conditions. Winds from the southwest at 10 knots and a ebb tide challenged sailors on the course. Winds built rapidly through the first set and racing was called for the day at 1300 due to conditions on the course and an approaching storm after race 4a. Racing will resume with a competitor's meeting at 0900 Sunday and race 3b shortly after.

Sunday, October 17:

Another day of good sailing on the Chester River. A shifty strong Northwest wind and tide currents presented ever changing conditions for the fleet. The "Pride of Baltimore" made a few appearances through the course. One breakdown was granted. Congratulations to St. Mary's for their victory this weekend and thank you to all teams who came down to Chestertown for some beautiful weather.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
