Lake Champlain produced challenging conditions with a strong southerly wind that produced ocean like conditions under the vibrant foliage of the Adirondacks and Green Mountains. The combined division fleet saw 10 boats on the line and fierce competition between McGill and Middlebury, ultimately producing a tie with 30 points each over 6 races. The last two races were tied to start and exciting to watch, with multiple capsizes and overboard sailors due to the strong winds. Thanks to esteemed alumni Nate Wiener for running the mark boat.
