Day one at the Hewitt Trophy started off with a glassy lake with patches of a dying northerly. At around 11:30 pm a 4-13 kts southerly filled in nicely. The race committee was able to complete 10 races in both Division 1 and Division 2. One protest was filed, resulting in a RAF. Thank you to Chris Klevan from USGA for serving as the NEISA rep. Report time for tomorrow is 9:30 am.

Sailors were greeted with a very still lake on day two of the Hewitt Trophy. The bright fall foliage and low hanging clouds made for a picturesque back drop. A 4-8 kts Northerly finally filled in at 12:00 pm. The race committee was able to complete six races in both divisions. There was one breakdown awarded. Thank you to Chris Klevan for serving as the NEISA rep and the Dartmouth sailors who helped run races. Congratulations to the Tufts University Jumbos for winning the 2018 Hewitt Trophy.
