Central Late Fall

Great weather for the first day of sailing at the Central Late Fall Regatta. A steady breeze from the west filled to about 10 with some gusting during the afternoon. In the late afternoon, the breeze shifted towards the northwest before starting to die out. Racing was concluded for the day with 10 races finished in A division and 8 in B. Two redresses were heard and one granted.

Racing begins tomorrow morning with the first warning at 10 for B division.

Gusty wind and strong current awaited the sailors this morning for the second day of racing. With the wind forecasted to build as the day went on, the decision was made to just finish out the last 2 races in the set and call it a day. Both races were completed quickly as the breeze dropped a little bit.

Congratulations to George Washington for their strong victory. Thank you to all teams that came to sail, to the coaches who heard redresses, and to the RC for keeping the races moving over the weekend.
