Racing began just after 10:00 am in a nice 6-8 knot Northwesterly. The first 4 races were sailed with big oscillations and pressure differences across the course. After a short break, the teams went back out for the next set of races. Shortly after the start of Race 6, the breeze got very light and the decision was made to abandon the race. After a lengthy delay teams were sent back to shore to wait for breeze. Unfortunately the breeze never consistently filled over the 3 knot minimum, and racing never got back underway.
Many thanks to the teams who attended the Baldwin Wood this year, and thanks to the Tulane team members that helped run some solid races when we had sufficient breeze.
