Racing was postponed immediately after the 1000 skippers meeting due to heavy fog and lack of breeze. As the fog broke up, a tenuous breeze filled in at 3-7 knots from the east. The wind was on and off from this direction for the majority of the afternoon and the sun eventually broke through for some unseasonably warm weather. Racing conditions were tough as the wind was shifty and spotty. The final race finished around 1630 when the breeze finally shut off for the afternoon.
The day started off similarly with fog early in the morning that burned off around 1000 in time for the first start. Breeze was out of the North at 3-7 for the first set with Varsity and JV B fleets. The breeze then died as the sun started to break through and racing was postponed on shore at 1130. Around 1230, an easterly similar to that seen on Saturday moved in and held for long enough to get three varsity and three junior varsity races off before the wind shut off again around 1530. Conditions where again challenging for racers and RC alike as the breeze was constantly oscillating between east and southeast. Another sunny and warm fall day on Lake Washington.
