Finally a Wednesday with breeze! Four schools sailed seven J/70's on the Thames River in a challenging and brisk northeasterly. Wind speeds averaged in the high teens with puffs peaking at 28kts. The boats were sailed with reefed mains and a no spinnaker restriction for race 1, lifted for race 2, and put back in effect for the remaining races. Four races were completed around a W4 racecourse. The average race duration was 18 minutes. Congrats to Bears 2, 3 and Rhode Island for completing the podium.
