The day started off with very light winds that postponed racing until about 11:00 in the morning. Race committee, led by Rich Aaring, then set a course with the little wind that had picked up. Only two races were able to start and finish that day before the wind died to nothing. Racing was postponed until day 2 at 3:30 in the afternoon.
Races began at 10:30 on day 2 and B fleet was able to get 2 races off. However, these races were difficult to start due to high winds and a large number of capsizes. After a postponement due to high wind, both A and B fleet was able to complete another set. This concluded the day of racing.
