NE Match Racing Championship

Another beautiful day in Newport, RI! A breezy day on the water with winds 10-20 mph coming from the north and north west. We got lots of great racing off and completed all 7 flights of the round robin. Tomorrow we will start the quarter finals based on the following results from today's racing:

Seed 1- Brown (6 pts.)

Seed 2- Tufts* (6-1= 5 pts.)

Seed 3- Yale* (5 pts.)

Seed 4- Harvard* (3+1= 4 pts.)

Seed 5- Dartmouth (3 pts.)

Seed 6- BU** (2 pts.)

Seed 7- URI** (2 pts.)

Seed 8- Bowdoin (1 pt.)

Tufts beats Yale head-to-head *BU defeats URI head-to-head ~Harvard redress awarded over Tufts

Another great day of sailing for the New England Match Race Champs! Congratulations to everyone who participated and especially to Harvard with their 2-0 victory in the final round against Dartmouth!
