Sailors arrived at Lake Macbride for the skipper's meeting at 0930. Boats were launched at 1000 but races were postponed due to low wind. The wind picked up to around 5 knots and the first race started at 1120. It was a beautiful day on Lake Macbride with sunny skies and temperature in the low 80s. Winds were shifty all day. Wind speed picked up gradually throughout the course of the afternoon to a top wind speed of 11 knots. No protest, redress or breakdown filed. A special thank you to John Wilcox on Race Committee.
Sailors arrived at Lake Macbride at 0930 for races on Sunday morning. However, races were postponed due to no wind. At 1030 the regatta was called and the awards ceremony was held. Thank you to all the teams that competed this weekend and the volunteers from the Iowa Sailing Club that helped make the Davis Cup happen.
