Colony Cup

Summary

Saturday, September 27:

The wind was very light and shifty in the morning, ranging from about 0 to 5 knots, but it filled in in the afternoon and 4 races were sailed in A and B fleet. 9 Teams were in attendance and Christopher Newport University and William and Mary each had 2 boats. The regatta was run by William and Mary's regatta chairs, Rachel Pinkham and Emily Meehan with help from John Griffin (W&M Advisor) and Willie Buchser (W&M Coach).

Sunday, September 28:

Once again, there was little to no wind in the morning, but a breeze filled in around 11:00 and both A and B were able to sail 2 races. Adam Siegel and Scott Guinn led Race Committee and Allie Rosenbluth, Rachel Pinkham, and Emily Meehan scored on land. Except for less than optimal wind conditions, the regatta ran very smoothly. Congratulations to Christopher Newport University for winning Colony Cup for the second year in a row!

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
